How long does Smila clear aligner treatment take?
Most Smila treatments last between 4 and 12 months depending on case complexity. Simpler cosmetic cases finish faster; complex functional work takes longer. We give you an honest estimate at your free consultation. -
Are Smila aligners safe?
Yes. Every Smila case is planned and monitored by a qualified UK dentist from start to finish. We do not run unsupervised mail-order treatment. -
How much do clear aligners cost in the UK?
Smila treatment is £2,000 to £2,400, fixed and all-in, including your full course of aligners, refinements within plan, and final retainers. The 3D scan and personalised treatment plan are a separate £200, payable on the day of your scan. Interest-free finance is available up to 12 months (subject to status); longer terms from 9.9% APR. -
Can I eat and drink while wearing my aligners?
You can drink plain water with aligners in. For everything else — meals, coffee, fizzy or sugary drinks — remove your aligners and rinse before putting them back. -
What happens if I lose an aligner?
Tell us straight away. We'll typically move you to your next tray or send a replacement. Replacements are at cost (usually under £50) and we walk you through it — no panic, no surcharge games.
